Hilton, Cousart named Honorable Mention All-American by Sporting News
Two Ursinus College men’s basketball players were named to the Sporting News College Basketball Division III All-American Honorable Mention team recently.

Senior guard Remy Cousart (Philadelphia, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) and junior guard Matt Hilton (Lewistown, Pa./Lewistown) were named honorable mention.

Cousart comes into the season with 683 points and 562 rebounds. A two-time All-Centennial selection, he averaged 11 points per game last season and pulled down a team-best 7.9 rebounds per contest. He set a Centennial Conference record with 18 assists in a win over Johns Hopkins on January 31, 2009.

Hilton played in just eight games last season, before suffering a broken foot that sidelined him for the remainder of the season. A transfer from James Madison, Hilton has 526 points in his career at Ursinus. In his eight games last season, he averaged 16.6 points per game.

Ursinus opens play on Friday night with a date against Keystone in the Hamilton Tip-Off Tournament. The game starts at 6.
