XC at Mid-East Regional
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus College cross country teams took part in the Mid-East regional on Saturday afternoon hosted by Muhlenberg College at Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus.

The women finished 24th, while the men finished 27th.

For the women, the top finisher was junior Ali Nolan (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley), who finished in 83rd place with a time of 24:10.2. Junior Deb Yannessa (Haddonfield, N.J./Paul IV) was second on the team with a time of 24:43.2. Other finishers included sophomore Stephanie Donatone (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) at 24:52.6, sophomore Michelle Tetla (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) at 25:38.0, sophomore Sabrina Cimerol (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) with a time of 25:51.5, freshman Carina Doyle (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) with a time of 26:17.1 and freshman Rebecca Hollenbach (Quakertown, Pa./Palisades) with a time of 26:18.2

The men’s team top finisher was junior Jeremy Garavel (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) in 121st place at 27:38.3. Freshman Sam Stortz (Dresher, PA./Upper Dublin) was the second-best finisher on the team with a time of 27:56.9. Junior Justin Garavel (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) finished with a time of 28:20.7, followed by senior Dante Dimidio (Yardley, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) at 28:27.3. Senior Brett Godoy (Chichester, Pa./Chichester) finished with a time of 28:47.0, followed by junior Jeff Centafont (Southampton, Pa./Wililam Tennent) at 29:25.1. Freshman Mark Gapinski (Sinking Spring, Pa./Holy Name) was the final finisher for Ursinus at 29:35.7.
