The Bald Soprano Recurring event
By Eugene Ionesco

Sat, 3 Nov, 2012 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Six actors. Twenty-four performances. No breaks. NO KIDDING! You may have heard of Eugene Ionesco's The Bald Soprano, a biting satire of British social conventions which finds the Smiths and Martins, the Maid and Fire Chief trapped in routines of mindless  manners and non-stop begins the action all over again, having substituted the Martins for the Smiths and the Smiths for the Martins.

Philadelphia’s acclaimed Brat Productions partners with Ursinus College Theater to transform the continuous-loop concept into a night-and-day come-and-go spectacle with A 24-Hour THE BALD SOPRANO.  Ionesco’s hour-long absurd comedy is repeated every hour on the hour. This unique take on Ionesco’s classic tests the mental and physical fortitude of every performer in this spectacle of metaphysical nonsense, suburban banality and sleep deprivation.   So grab some coffee.  Grab a Red Bull.  Grab a pillow, because the production starts at 8pm on Friday, November 2nd and finishes at 8pm on Saturday November 3rd!
