How to Apply for Financial Aid
Early Decision applicants who are applying for institutional financial aid should submit the CSS PROFILE by January 15th. The Ursinus College code number for the PROFILE is 2931.
Accepted Early Decision applicants will receive a financial aid award notification within two weeks of the admission letter, beginning December 15, if the PROFILE was filed on time. Otherwise the financial aid award notification will be mailed as soon as possible after the PROFILE analysis is received by Ursinus.
In addition to the PROFILE, applicants must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1st for federal and state financial aid consideration. The Ursinus College federal code for the FAFSA is 003385.

While Early Action applicants will receive notification of admission within four weeks of completing their application, financial aid notification will be done according to the same calendar as Regular Decision (below.)
Regular Decision applicants who are applying for institutional financial aid should submit the CSS PROFILE as soon as possible, but no later than February 15. The Ursinus code number for the PROFILE is 2931.
In addition to the PROFILE, applicants must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1st and before February 15th for federal and state financial aid consideration. The Ursinus College federal code for the FAFSA is 003385.
Regular Decision applicants who have been admitted and have completed the CSS PROFILE and FAFSA will receive notification of their financial aid awards in mid to late March. Otherwise, the financial aid award notification will be mailed as soon as possible after the receipt of the proper documentation.
Students who enroll at Ursinus are required to provide signed copies of base year federal tax returns including all schedules and W-2 forms for both student and parents by June 1st. Further details on this requirement will be provided with the financial aid award notification.
For Continuing Students/Transfer Students
Continuing and transfer students who are applying for financial aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1st. The Ursinus federal code for the FAFSA is 003385. The CSS PROFILE is not required for continuing or transfer students.
Financial aid packets with step-by-step guidelines for renewing financial aid will be available for download on our website. The information in the packet will be an Institutional Financial Aid Form that also must be returned by May 1st, along with signed base year federal income tax returns and W-2 for both student and parents. Continuing students who receive Ursinus Scholarships, but no other type of federal or state aid, are still required to download a renewal packet the first week of December which will contain the Institutional Financial Aid Form. This form must be completed to renew any scholarships and returned by May 1st to the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid.
Financial aid award notifications are sent beginning in June once all grades are turned in to the Registrar and the satisfactory progress verification is complete.
