A number of resources exist on campus to help students with their academic work.
The Center For Academic Support
To learn more about Inidividual Tutoring, Collaboartive Learning Programs, Help Rooms, First-Year Experience, Assistance for students on academic probation visit CAS
Phi Kappa Sigma Help Room (Olin 004)
Phi Kappa Sigma brothers offer free tutoring for most subject areas one night per week. They also hold study sessions geared to specific tests – typically biology or chemistry exams. Students are seen on a walk-in basis. Help Room Hours: Wednesday 7:30 – 9 PM
The Whitian Society Peer Mentoring Program
The Whitian Society began a peer-mentoring program last semester for college women at Ursinus. The program’s intent is to provide freshmen, sophomore, and junior women with a mentor from the Whitian Society who has the same major and extracurricular interests to provide support, advice, and encouragement. Writing Center
The Writing Center is a place for all writers to get assistance and guidance on their writing. The Center helps with every discipline and every aspect of writing including understanding an assignment, drafting an essay, honing grammar and proper usage of punctuation, etc. Writing Center Hours: Monday through Thursday 11 AM-3 PM and 7-11 PM; Sunday 7-11 PM. Students may make appointments with a writing tutor online at With this online tool, students are able to manage their time, choose specific tutors, and give those tutors an idea of what s/he wants to work on before their meeting.

Students currently on leave who wish to return to campus can complete the Return to Active Status form online. To access the form, students must be logged in through the UC Gateway.
