Ursinus College invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Statistics beginning Fall 2014. PhD in Statistics or a closely related field is required by beginning of fall term 2014. While all Statistical fields will be considered, preference will be given to applicants with interest or experience in applications of statistics to social sciences. Excellence  in teaching, evidence of a strong and ongoing research program, and commitment to working in a liberal arts setting, are essential. The successful candidate will develop a strong research program and teach five courses per year (3/2 is the current teaching load), including participation in the interdisciplinary freshman seminar CIE (Common Intellectual Experience), and will supervise students in undergraduate research projects.
