Brownback-Anders Pre-Medical Society
The purpose of the Brownback-Anders Pre-Health Society (BAPS) is to provide guidance, assistance, information, and a peer mentoring for any student interested in pursuing graduate study in the health sciences i.e. medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, pharmacy, etc. The organization is open to any student interested in pursuing graduate programs in the health sciences and generally meets 1-2 times per month.
Founded in 1929 and originally Ursinus College’s first Biology Club, BAPS grew into the pre-health society that it is today with the guidance of Dr. James M. Anders and Dr. J. Harold Brownback.
