International Relations Club

The International Relations Club’s purpose is to enhance the awareness of the student body of current international issues. The Club works toward this goal by hosting speakers with a background in international relations. Past speakers have included Patrick Hayford (Director of the Office of the Special Advisor to Africa), Imam Abu Bakar (Nigerian Council), and Sasha Lezhenv (Grassroots Rehabilitation Project, Global Witness). The Club also is actively engaged in Model United Nations, which takes place annually in New York City. Past Model United Nations have taken place in other cities, including Xi’An, China, and Washington D.C. The Club is open to the entire campus and meets on a regular basis established at the beginning of each semester.
