Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is an international, non-governmental, non-profit organization devoted to building “simple, decent, and affordable” housing. Homes are built using volunteer labor and are sold at no profit. The Ursinus chapter of this organization is focused upon offering volunteers from the Ursinus College Community to help with local and national construction of these homes. Trips to local build sites take place on a Saturday of each month during the fall and spring semesters. Members are also encouraged to participate in an alternative spring break program where students will stay near a site for the majority of the week and volunteer on-site each day.
