Ursinus Environmental Action

Ursinus College Environmental Action (UCEA) is a student organization that helps to organize environmental initiatives across campus, while also volunteering time off campus as well. UCEA events in the past include: volunteering at recycling centers, owl banding, rock climbing, steam clean up's, mentoring projects at schools, planning earth day, and much more.

UCEA seeks to:
• Foster education, discussion, and empowerment pertaining to environmental issues
• Provide a forum for environmentalists at Ursinus to meet, learn, act and serve
• Bring awareness to campaigns and service opportunities to the members of our campus and the surrounding community
• Arrange informative and recreational activities and events with the environment in mind
• Build Ursinus as a sustainable, environmentally aware community of individuals coming together to make positive, meaningful change

The organization is open to all students on campus. UCEA holds weekly meetings during the academic year.
