Earth Day

Ursinus College participates in celebrating and promoting Earth Day every Spring Semester (on a weekend near April 22) in the hopes of inspiring the community to take an active role in making change towards a more sustainable, climate conscious environment. Earth Day provides students with leadership experiencing, hosting outreach and educational events throughout the week that are directed not only to their peers but to the surrounding Collegeville community as well. Earth Day brings the community together, celebrating creativity, laughter and the environment - while also creating a forum for discussion on change and taking action as concerned citizens.

Ursinus College Environmental Action (UCEA) is the student organization on campus that coordinates Earth Day and Earth Week every year. If you are interested in volunteering or educating during Earth Day or Earth Week - contact UCEA at ucea@ursinus.edu or the Earth Day coordinator as listed on this page. Keep checking the Office of Sustainability website for updates and highlights about the upcoming Earth Day celebration!
