Health and Exercise Physiology Instructor
The Ursinus College Health and Exercise Physiology Department has an opening to teach HEP 220 Critical Components of Conditioning for the 2014 fall semester. The course is designed to introduce students to the concepts of conditioning as it relates to muscular strength and endurance as well as various forms of cardiovascular training. The course will emphasize the identification and analysis of critical elements of resistance training exercises, teaching progressions involved in conditioning, and safety and organizational implications of conditioning. The three credit course will be taught on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:15 starting August 25, 2014. Candidates must have a Master’s Degree and those who are a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist will be preferred.
