Visiting Faculty Position in Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Ursinus College invites applications for a one-year full-time visiting faculty position in Mathematics for Academic Year 2014-15. A Ph.D (or near completion) in Mathematics or a closely related field is required by the start of the appointment, and teaching experience is preferred. Although all areas will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Numerical Analysis, Number Theory or Applied Mathematics. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate courses, be able to teach upper level undergraduate math courses, and teach at least introductory-level Computer Science courses. The teaching load is 3 courses a semester (6 courses a year).
