The Office of Sustainability provides students with the opportunity to work on sustainability initiatives on and off campus within a professional setting. As stewards of the environment and within their communities, they develop communication and leadership skills unique to this program – communicating complex environmental issues through outreach projects and various sustainability initiatives. Most of these are unpaid positions where students get the opportunity to gain professional experience working directly with and being mentored by the Office of Sustainability staff. The Ursinus EcoReps Program is a new program on campus that allows students to facilitate environmental education and sustainable living on campus. Each EcoRep is a sustainability representative on campus and works with our EcoRep Sustainability Fellow on campus programs. We will be accepting applications for the Spring of 2014 soon.
