Assistant Director of Leadership Development and Student Activities

This is a full-time position that reports to the Associate Dean of Students in the Office of Student Life.  Many weekend and evening hours are required with this position.  The role of the position is to promote student achievement by providing students with opportunities for personal growth and development outside of class. 

Responsibilities include: planning and facilitating student programming, new student orientation programs, leadership training, and greek life; managing the campus center; supervision of student staff; and serving on campus wide committees and boards. 

Qualified candidates will have: Master Degree in Higher Ed. Counseling, Student Personnel, or closely related field; 2-5 years experience in student affairs (which may include work experience during graduate school); experience or working knowledge in leadership training, greek life, student programming, new student orientation, office administration, advising and supervision; excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, data base management, and web page software; familiarity with small residential liberal arts college setting.
