Planning for your first year at Ursinus begins at May Orientation. In an effort to accommodate everyone’s schedule, you are offered two options for May Orientation. Because of the importance of this event, you are strongly encouraged to make every effort to attend one of these sessions.
Monday, May 20, 2013 (with optional overnight on Sunday, May 19) Or
Tuesday, May 21, 2013 (with optional overnight on Monday, May 20)
Orientation begins with registration and a light breakfast between 8:00 and 8:45 AM and concludes at approximately 4:00 PM. You will meet with your faculty adviser to select courses, attend a presentation from the Residence Life Staff regarding first-year housing, and participate in small group discussions with your new classmates. Student schedules are individualized and will receive them on the day of orientation.
You MUST complete the online placements tests prior to May Orientation.>
The overnight program, the night prior to your orientation day, provides an ideal opportunity for you to meet fellow classmates and upper class student leaders. Details>
If your parents plan to accompany you for the optional overnight program, please remember they must arrange their own overnight accommodations.
