LAB ASSISTANT BE 320Q - Econometrics

Lab assistants attend all scheduled course lab sessions (once per week during the regular semester) and assist students with lab assignments, homework and answering questions about course content, use of software packages, and other assignments as needed. Attendance at extra lab or course review sessions may occassionally be required. Requirements for the position include: successful completion of BE 320Q - Econometrics with a grade of “A”, prior tutoring experience preferred and ability to work effectively with peers and faculty.

One lab assistant per section of the course.

LAB ASSISTANT- BE 140 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

Lab assistants attend all scheduled course lab sessions (once per week during the regular semester) and assist students with lab assignments, homework and answering questions about course content, use of software packages, and other assignments as needed. Attendance at extra lab or course review sessions may occassionally be required. Requirements for the position include: successful completion of BE 140 - Financial Accounting with a grade of “A”, prior tutoring experience preferred and ability to work effectively with peers and faculty.

One lab assistant per section of the course.

Temporary Data Entry ASSiSTANT

Immediate position to assist BE faculty in entering data into Excel Spreadsheets. Knowledge of Excel and skill in entering and manipulating data within an Excel spreadsheet. Temporary position for a single project. Work location is flexible

LAB ASSISTANT- BE 211 MANAGERIAL Economics

Lab assistants attend all scheduled course lab sessions (once per week during the regular semester) and assist students with lab assignments, homework and answering questions about course content, use of software packages, and other assignments as needed. Attendance at extra lab or course review sessions may occassionally be required. Requirements for the position include: successful completion of BE 211- Managerial Economics with a grade of “A”, prior tutoring experience preferred and ability to work effectively with peers and faculty.

Lab Assistant for BE 230 Management & Organizational Behavior

The BE 230 lab assistant will act as a resource person and assist the instructor in running the CAPSIM simulation.
Requirements for the position:

  • Prior experience with the CAPSIM simulation.
  • Ability to work effectively with students and the instructor in a team environment.
  •  Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Availability during scheduled BE 230 classes on Fridays from 8:40 to 9:50 AM and/or 1:30 to 2:40 PM.

This is an hourly position; hours may vary depending on the needs of the instructor.
