animal advocacy coalition

The Animal Rights Coalition is a student group committed to learning about and advocating for animal welfare. Our primary purpose is education: both to educate ourselves and the wider Ursinus community. We do this through group discussions and readings, film screenings, and trips. Our next goal is advocacy. This is done through activities such as pledges for Meatless Mondays and fundraising for animal sanctuaries such as Chenoa Manor. Membership is open to any students interested in animals or animal welfare. We are not a group just for vegetarians or vegans – we welcome anyone and our agenda is much broader than diet. We meet every week.
