Student participation in pre-legal programs at Ursinus is centered on the student run and faculty and administration advised Haines-Membership and participation in the Society by all pre-law students is strongly encouraged. Among the activities of the Society are guest speakers, visits to law schools, the Ursinus Legal Reading Group, visits to law school admissions colloquium and the dissemination of a wealth of information on law schools, the LSAT and the practice of law.

Pre-Law Set the Bar for Success for Senior Kate Lechleitner.

Kate Lechleitner came to Ursinus with her eye on eventually pursuing a law degree. As fate would have it, the pre-law program here was on the rise and she quickly found her niche. A Politics major with minors in International Relations and English, she hunkered down to focus on preparing for law school between her sophomore and junior years.

Now the native of Northport, N.Y., is diligently sifting through offers from more than eight law schools and will decide between St. Johns, Seton Hall and Syracuse.  Full Story>
