First-Year Student Profile

Our students are intelligent, motivated, and academically curious. A typical entering class includes 460 students, evenly divided between men and women. 50% are from outside Pennsylvania and 22% self-identify as students of color.

Of the 4,000 applicants during 2012-2013, 92% earned high school GPAs above 3.00 and 68% earned GPAs above 3.50. We attract students with proven success in advanced college prep high school programs and records of achievement outside the classroom.
