Laura Bickert Ciarlello '05

While at Ursinus, Laura was involved as a Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, Admissions Tour Guide, and Alternative Spring Break coordinator. She earned her M.A. in Counseling in Higher Education at the University of Delaware in 2007, and spent several years working professionally in residence life afterward. During the last three years, she has worked at Widener University as a Career Counselor and Co-op Advisor, and most recently added First-year Advisor and Academic Coaching to her responsibilities. Laura and her husband live in Ardmore, PA where she is the Social Ministry Chair at her church and serves on the planning committee for the Delaware Valley Student Affairs Conference.

After graduating from Ursinus in 2010 with a Business & Economics and Politics double major, Dan attended Temple Law School, graduating in 2013.  He now works as a financial advisor at Rosenzweig & Associates WMG, LLC in Wayne, PA, where he focuses on investments, options and insurance. 

 

Timothy Cosgrave '85

Tim currently serves as Vice President in the Office of the Customer at Siemens Medical Systems.  Tim is responsible for customer advocacy and transparency across the customer base, which focuses on customer satisfaction and retention.   A 28-year employee of Siemens and formally Shared Medical Systems, Tim has served in a variety of customer facing positions in the organization from Software Implementation Project Manager to Regional Vice President Sales. While at Ursinus, Tim was a member of both the Football and Baseball teams and was President of Sigma Rho Lambda Fraternity. He received his MBA from Eastern University. Tim resides in Plymouth Meeting with his wife Becky and their three children.

Jim currently serves as Senior Vice President and National Practice Leader in Special Markets for Transamerica Retirement Solutions, aleading provider of customized retirement plan solutions for organizations of all sizes. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration from Ursinus College, and holds his FINRA Series 6 and 63 designations. Jim and his team created and launched The Retirement Plan ExchangeSM for small businesses in 2013 and started the firm’s Association and Cooperative practice in 2009. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and panel discussions covering a variety of retirement topics, including outsourcing, retirement readiness, plan design and coverage. He resides in Ringoes, New Jersey with his wife, Beth.

 

Lesley Katz '87

While at Ursinus College, Lesley was involved as Editor of the 1985 Ruby, a Resident Assistant, a member of the Meistersingers and College Choir, and the Economics Council.  Lesley went on to earn a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accountancy from ASU West and a CPA license in Pennsylvania.  She gained international experience, not only as a junior in London while at Ursinus, but also held international work assignments in England, Australia, and Germany while working for both Unisys and Siemens Medical Solutions.  Lesley currently is a Director with Asplundh Tree Expert responsible for Billing and Revenue.  Lesley continues to sing with the Ursinus College Choir and plays the violin with the Main Line Symphony Orchestra where she is also the Finance Committee Chair.  Lesley is thrilled to be back in the Philadelphia area reconnecting with her Ursinus family.
