Facilities and Resources
As a top-tier liberal arts college with a healthy $130 million endowment, Ursinus offers outstanding facilities for students of all majors--in the mathematical and natural sciences, the humanities, the social sciences, and the arts. Our sophisticated information network links a serene, 170-acre campus, just 28 miles from Center City Philadelphia.
Within our campus, you will find exceptional laboratories, technologically enhanced classrooms, well-resourced libraries, and comfortable study lounges and meeting rooms. Our athletic facilities and performing arts center are among the best in the prestigious Centennial Conference. And our residence halls are ideal spaces for making lifelong friends (and catching the occasional night's sleep!)
New on campus in the last several years are The Kaleidoscope Center for the Performing Arts, New Hall and Richter-North halls, both residence halls, and the Floy Lewis Bakes Field House. In 2007, historic Bomberger Hall re-opened after a 12-month renovation project. The campus also boasts a major art museum, a totally networked campus with wireless access available in the Wismer Center, Myrin Library and in various classrooms and auditoriums across campus, the handsome Victorian Residential Village, and the architecturally vibrant F.W. Olin humanities building.
