Leadership Opportunities

Are you interested in getting more involved with Ursinus? Alumni and friends have several outlets for participation that connect them with fellow graduates as well as make a difference in the lives of current students.

National Council

National Council

The National Council is a volunteer structure that serves as the major platform for engagement and philanthropic activities for key alumni and parent leaders. Regional chapters exist in each of nine “key” regions from across the nation and participants serve as ambassadors for the larger alumni group. Members of the National Council serve as champions and local spokespersons of the College. They will host events that build greater understanding and appreciation for the College and develop a culture of giving. Our regions include: Boston, Chicago, Florida, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Southern California and Washington D.C.

Young Alumni Council

Our Young Alumni Council is comprised of graduates of the past ten years and was created with the intention of engaging our young alumni in the life and future of the College. This group of young alumni leaders educates their peers about the importance of giving back to Ursinus and engages others via personal contact, campus updates, networking opportunities and events.

Reunion Committees

Class Reunions are held during Homecoming in the fall and Alumni Weekend in the spring. Not only do reunions offer alumni the opportunity to renew old friendships, but they also provide them with the chance to visit the College and experience the energy and excitement at Ursinus.

Alumni-Admission Ambassadors

Interested in assisting the Office of Admission as we look to recruit impressive first-year Ursinus student? As an Ursinus College alumnus/a, your insight and experiences are so valuable to perspective and accepted students.

Ursinus alumni and parent volunteers assist the Office of Admission to recruit and educate high-level high school students on the benefits of an Ursinus College education.  Volunteers help with a variety of opportunities and make a large impact on a prospective and/or admitted student’s college selection process. Volunteers can expect a 5-10 hour time commitment per academic year. Please click here to apply.

Career and Professional Development

Ursinus College alumni are a vital partner in providing opportunities and career advice for our students. We encourage you to consider posting full-time positions and internships with us, serving as an Extern Sponsor, or making yourself available to network with students and other alumni. Email us for additional information.
