Ursinus Named “Best Value” College

Ursinus College is one of 100 liberal arts colleges cited by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance as a “best value” in its new 2015 lists.

Ursinus has been named to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s list of 100 best values in private liberal arts colleges for 2015.

The ranking cites four-year schools that combine outstanding academics with affordable cost. The list assesses standards such as admission rate, percent of students who return for sophomore year, the student-faculty ratio and the four-year graduation rate. Cost criteria include sticker prices, financial aid and other factors.

Kiplinger’s annually includes Ursinus with its list of colleges that, according to Kiplinger’s, “exemplify the attributes parents and students look for in higher education, including small class sizes, a good freshman retention rate and a high four-year graduation rate.”

These rankings will be published in the February 2015 issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. Web readers can sort by category.
