I have served my alma mater in a professional capacity twice, first from 1984-1995 and again from 2009 to the present. As Senior Vice President for Advancement I oversee fundraising, outreach and the Berman Museum programs, and areas of external relations, all in efforts to advance the mission of the College through philanthropic support.
I began my tenure at Ursinus as an adjunct English instructor prior to moving through the ranks of the College Relations Department, serving as a senior administrator until ultimately moving to Lehigh University as Vice President for Advancement. In 1997 I was appointed Vice President for Advancement at Haverford College and oversaw a successful $200 million campaign, amidst the tumultuous economic and emotional post-9/11 era. After serving as President of Cedar Crest College, I was appointed Senior Vice President for Advancement at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. However, my higher education roots and love for my alma mater were too deep, and I returned to Ursinus College in 2009 and have been leading the Advancement Department ever since.
