Senior Chi-E Low Recieves Grant for NCCWSL Conference
As a Resident Advisor, Analytics Intern, U-Imagine Center for Entrepreneurship Assistant, Multicultural Coordinator and more, senior Applied Economics major, Chi-E Low, has had her fair share of leadership experience. However, according to Chi-E, leadership is about more than “being at the very top.” She argues, “Leadership is being able to pioneer change and make a difference regardless of where you come from and where you stand.”
This June, Chi-E Low will attend the 2016 National Conference for College Women Student Leaders at the University of Maryland. This two and a half day conference brings together nearly 1,000 college women from every state. During this time, Chi-E will have the opportunity to attend workshops, meet speakers, network with graduate schools and employers and more!
Chi-E hopes to bring back to Ursinus the skills and confidence gained at NCCWSL in order to inspire other female leaders on campus. She says, “A leader is one who is able to produce results, and by doing so, encouraging others to do the same.”
Congratulations Chi-E! We are so proud to have you represent Ursinus at the NCCWSL Conference!
