The 2020 Edition of the Lantern, the Ursinus College Student Literary Magazine, Now Available Online

The 2019-2020 edition of The Lantern, the student literary magazine of Ursinus College, is now available to download or browse in Digital Commons.  All previous issues of The Lantern are also available, dating back to 1933!

The 2019-2020 edition of the Lantern, edited by Nicole Kosar, features 176 pages of Ursinus student poetry, fiction, nonfiction, drama and visual art.  The creative works of forty-five students are represented in its pages.  Since 1933, the publication has been entirely student-run, with guidance from a faculty adviser.  Each year, alumni read the student submissions and make selections for special recognition.

This year’s prize-winning entries are:

Prose PrizeJeremy Moyer, “That Light in the Sky” (Selected by Jess Demers, Class of 1998).
