CoSA 2022 Physics & Astronomy Department

The Physics and Astronomy Department recognizes student excellence during CoSA with research presentations, departmental awards and Sigma Pi Sigma honor society inductions.

During the Celebration of Student Achievement on April 21st, the Physics and Astronomy Department honored the accomplishments of it’s students.  After several successful poster presentations of their research, students were recognized with departmental awards and induction into Sigma Pi Sigma, the Physics Honor Society.  During their meeting, alumnus Tamas Budner ’16, a current doctoral candidate at Michigan State University, joined via Zoom to discuss his astrophysics research and take questions regarding his graduate school experience.  Congratulations, Physics majors, on all of your accomplishments!
