There’s No Place Like Home: Kim Smith ’86

In the fall of 1982, my parents dropped me off at Ursinus College, and it has been my second home ever since. The campus holds many great memories for me, and even 40 years later, I am always excited to return to the beauty of Main Street in Collegeville, PA. As I enter my 6^th season coaching women’s basketball at UC, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with so many talented and inspiring student-athletes. My time at Ursinus as a student-athlete was very special, and it paved the way for my professional and personal journey. I hope it will do the same for the current players, and they will look upon their time at the college as fondly as I do.
