New Castle County Special Program Advocate Presents to Stress Management Class

A representative of the New Castle County Domestic Violence Advocacy Program presented an overview of healthy boundaries in relation to an array of Domestic Violence issues.

Recently, the Health and Exercise Physiology Stress Management Class (HEP-240) covered the topic, Healthy Boundaries. This included discussions about boundaries with finances, relationships, and values. Denise Felsenstein’s class welcomed guest speaker,Tess Huddleston. Students viewed a presentation of information on domestic violence and discussed signs of abusive relationships. Tess is an advocate in the New Castle County Domestic Violence Advocacy Program and works as a Victim Services Specialist in the Wilmington Police Department. Students appreciated the ability to gain an understanding of various Health Boundaries to establish for themselves.
