This year the Baccalaureate Service will be on Friday, May 15 in Bomberger Memorial Hall at 5 p.m. Space is very limited, but faculty who would like to attend should contact Tessa Narins to reserve a seat in Bomberger.
Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. – rain or shine - under the tent on the Berman Museum lawn. Faculty will begin to assemble at 9 a.m. in Olin Hall as indicated below.
No empty seats please!
As you know, faculty is expected to participate in Commencement unless formally excused by the Dean of the College. In addition, since faculty will be seated on the risers behind the platform, it is absolutely essential that there is an exact account of who will be participating in the ceremony. Every member of the faculty and the board will have an assigned seat.
Therefore, unless the Dean’s Office has received notification by Friday, May 1, 2020 at noon and a formal excuse has been granted by the Dean, it is assumed that a faculty member will be marching with the faculty.
Please note: The procession will begin at 9:30 a.m. Senior members march first.
