Ursinus is undeniably focused on Every Student’s Success.
The ambitious goal of this strategic plan is to create a culture that uniquely empowers EVERY student, giving them agency to chart their path and lean into their potential. It also creates a blueprint for our faculty and staff to contribute uniquely to our students’ personal and academic growth. We do this by focusing on our students’ academic and residential experience, as well as the financial and philanthropic investments that are needed to enrich our campus community.
As we move into the next, and final, stage of our planning process, the strategic conversation has been expanded to six working groups. Consisting of faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, and students, these working groups are empowered to identify the actions and activities that will advance this strategic plan.
Please reach out to chairs directly and they will be in touch with you.
Every individual’s input is helpful! You can serve as a point person to a group—coming perhaps to one or two meetings or responding to particular questions the group might be discussing via email. Please let the co-chairs know that when you reach out.
Think carefully about where your time can be spent most usefully. Your perspectives will be helpful in multiple areas, so you might serve as a point person for more than one group. However, I would caution you against committing yourself to more than one group as a full participant.
The primary stakeholders are faculty and staff, as well as students, although parents and alumni/ae will also have opportunities to be involved going forward. Students may be able to receive one credit for their participation.
