Sinnea Douglas (2015),an English major who plans to teach high school, spent a month studying language and culture in Dakar, Senegal.

 Codey Young (2014), first AAAS student to win the coveted Watson Fellowship, he will send periodic reports from his upcoming year of world travel as he discovers how poets in four countries regard the subject of black masculinity.
