Investment Club

The Ursinus College Investment Club formed in 2003 with the mission to educate the Ursinus community about investing in financial markets.

The Smith Fund

With donated money, the club recently began managing the Rev. Dr. Harold C. Smith Fund, a small portfolio of stocks selected for their potential for growth in the next two to three years. The fund provides any Ursinus student, regardless of major, the opportunity for invaluable hands-on lessons in teamwork, valuation, the markets, and economics.

Meetings

The investment club meets on Thursdays at 8 p.m. in Bomberger 128. All Ursinus students are welcome. It’s a great way to learn about the markets.

News

The investment club hosted alum Matt Yuros (’12) at its Jan. 25 meeting. Yuros talked about life as a quantitative strategist. Read more about his visit here.
