Finance Scholars

Students who want to deepen their education in financial analysis can take part in the Finance Scholars Program. Finance Scholars participate in research competitions and learn about ethical behavior in finance. Students are also eligible to prepare for and receive a scholarship from the CFA Institute for the CFA® Level I Exam. 

Getting Involved

Students who perform well in the classroom in their first two years at Ursinus are welcome to apply to be a finance scholar.  Each year a cohort of 5 students will work with the director on being a professional in the finance industry.  Scholars meet meet with the Director on a weekly basis through the next four semesters.  As a cohort they compete with other institutions in the areas of ethics and financial analysis. Scholars are able to sit for the first exam at a reduce cost. 

CFA Institute
