These groups are open to all students, regardless of major, providing a space to develop musical skills, foster personal growth, and form lasting connections. As a vital component of the liberal arts experience, our ensembles encourage interdisciplinary learning, enrich campus culture, and contribute to a vibrant artistic community.

Voices of Ursinus  MUS-011-018. 

A choral ensemble of mixed voices open to all students. The choir performs repertoire representing diverse styles and cultures. The Voices of Ursinus presents two major concerts each year and performs at various venues and college events. Graded S/U. Three to four hours per week. One semester hour. (A, if four semester hours are completed.)

Ursinus College Wind Ensemble  (MUS-021–028).

A large instrumental ensemble open to everyone in the College community. Members perform works from standard band repertoire, transcriptions of important orchestral works, and new compositions. The Wind Ensemble presents two major concerts each year and may appear at campus functions. Graded S/U. Two to three hours per week. One semester hour. (A, if four semester hours are completed.)

Ursinus College Jazz Ensemble  (MUS-031–038). 

A big band open to all students. The ensemble performs arrangements and original compositions in a variety of jazz styles. The Jazz Ensemble presents two major concerts each year and may appear at campus functions. Graded S/U. Music lessons fee. Two to three hours per week. One semester hour. (A, if four semester hours are completed.)

A chamber strings ensemble open to everyone in the College community. Members will present a campus performance each semester and may appear at campus functions. Graded S/U. Two to three hours per week. One semester hour. (A, if four semester hours are completed.)

Ursinus College Singers

A small, auditioned choral ensemble of soprano and alto voices, which debuted in the fall of 2024. The choir performs treble repertoire representing varied backgrounds and languages. The choir presents two major concerts each year and performs at various venues and college events. They have performed at the Philadelphia Christmas Village, in Downtown Collingswood, and at the Phoenixville Tree Lighting. In September of 2024, the Ursinus College Singers had the honor of seeing Emmy and Tony Award-winning singer Kristin Chenoweth in concert.
