University of the Sciences Graduate Program

A new partnership with University of the Sciences provides Ursinus College students with a clear path to graduate and professional degree programs after successfully completing their liberal education at Ursinus.

Healthcare is a growing field and students today have such a wide range of opportunities in addition to becoming a physician or nurse. With growing interest in our health and exercise physiology program and in physical therapy and occupational therapy graduate study among our students, this agreement opens up exciting new possibilities for those pursuing careers in the sciences.

The affiliation agreement allows Ursinus students to enter one of 12 graduate programs at University of the Sciences upon successful completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Under the agreement, Ursinus students could pursue master’s degrees in the following USciences programs (the number indicates the minimum number of Ursinus students USciences will annually accept per program) :

  • MBA pharmaceutical and healthcare business (5)
  • MS biochemistry (thesis 2) or (non-thesis 3)
  • MS cell biology and biotechnology (thesis 1) or (non-thesis 2)
  • MS chemistry (thesis 2) or (non-thesis 3)
  • MS bioinformatics (5)
  • MOT occupational therapy (3)

They can pursue doctoral degrees in

  • DrOT occupational therapy (3)
  • PharmD pharmacy (3)
  • DPT physical therapy (3)

The Ursinus students must successfully complete a four-year undergraduate degree at Ursinus, submit an application to USciences and meet prerequisites for consideration of admission to a USciences graduate or professional degree program.
