Since 2013, the U-Imagine Center for Integrative and Entrepreneurial Studies has worked to develop and sustain a campuswide entrepreneurial spirit via a year-round series of programs, events, competitions, and—as of this semester—a new minor as well as a concentration in the new business economics major.
The Center’s programs are designed to develop and refine the skill sets that are crucial to embarking on successful, professional careers. In addition to our internal programs, we work hard to collaborate with external professionals and businesses to maximize student opportunities.
UC Imagine Fest is a 15-hour marathon event where students work together to find innovative and creative solutions for existing problems. During the program, students work to develop their solutions and pitch their final plan to a panel of judges. Our calculated processes assist students to communicate the validity of a problem and offer a creative solution that meets the needs of a reachable market.
Throughout the fall, 48 students from 17 different majors participated in workshops the center ran to inspire students’ creativity and spark their entrepreneurial spirits.
This June, high schoolers from across the country had a sample of Ursinus College’s greatest entrepreneurial opportunity.
