UC Digital Spark
Digital Spark is going VIRTUAL!!
Ursinus College Alum, Jill Falduto, talks about her Digital Spark experience!
What is it?
Ursinus College’s U-Imagine Center is helping students and local businesses! The SUMMER 2020 BUSINESS ASSIST INITIATIVE is an immersive program designed specifically for local businesses that are looking for innovative minds to execute a particular focused project that will help both the business and the intern grow. Here at the U-Imagine Center, we believe that undergraduates with liberal arts education can have a great impact when paired with small local, startup/early stage or mature businesses with an identified narrow, project based targeted need. This opportunity has been made available to you by a local business council interested in supporting Ursinus students and the local business community.
Do you have the “spark” to jump on board?
In this program, creative, ambitious students will be placed with businesses to help develop a digital presence based on the businesses’ needs. All majors, minors, and years are encouraged to apply, especially students that want to put their social media skills to use. Students will receive guidance from the U-Imagine Center’s resources as well as training on analytics software for social media. During the course of the program, students will work remotely one-on-one with their business clients to develop the right social media campaign.
Digital Spark 2020 will run from May 26th to July 17th in a virtual setting and a $2,500 stipend.
