Digital Spark student receiving recognition for their service

UC Digital Spark

A special opportunity for students to use their skills in an effort to support local businesses develop an online presence in the Collegeville area.

What is Digital Spark?

Digital Spark is a U-Imagine Center hosted program that connects students with local businesses in need of additional support. The 2020 Virtual Digital Spark initiative is an immersive summer program designed to pair local businesses with a student that can refine a specific sector of their business platform. This program is mutually beneficial for both student and business, as they will work together to find creative solutions for the company.

Here at the U-Imagine Center, we believe that undergraduates with liberal arts education can positively impact the growth and development of local businesses, no matter the stage or size of their operation. Whether they need help with marketing, website management, social media, and more, your innovative mindset matched with your professional skills will help them immensely. This opportunity has been made available by a local business council who have aligned interests of supporting both Ursinus students and the local business community.

Are you ready to be the “Spark” a business needs?

In this program, ambitious students will be assigned with a local business to help develop a digital presence based on a specific businesses’ needs. Students of every class year and discipline are encouraged to apply, especially students that want to put their social media skills to use.
