Homecoming and Family Weekend will take place September 21-23, 2018.

When will registration be available?

Pre-registration for Homecoming and Family Weekend is now closed. Walk-in registration is available on Friday at the Registration Suite in Wismer Center from 9 am - 6 pm and Saturday at the individual events.

What is the dress code for the weekend? 

Dress is casual for all Homecoming and Family Weekend events. 

What will the weather be like?

Collegeville in mid-September can be warm and clear or rainy and cold. When packing, keep in mind that during the day it could get as high as the low 80’s, but at night could get as low as mid 50’s.  

What meals will be available?

Alumni and Parents will have the opportunity to buy lunch from our food tent either during preregistration or on campus. 

What if I have special needs?

Homecoming is a rain or shine event.  Most activities take place on grassy areas and athletic fields.  Brick and concrete walking paths provide access to most of the venues; however, wheelchair and walker access may be difficult in a few areas. Parking at the 9th Avenue lot provides access to an upper and lower brick path which lead to the festivities and games.  Golf carts will be circulating around campus parking lots to provide rides for interested parties.

Will campus tours be available? 

Of course! Take time to get reacquainted with Ursinus’s campus during your visit. To schedule a campus tour and interview for your family member who is considering attending Ursinus, please call the Office of Admission at 610-409-3200.  Don’t forget to mention that you are an alumnus or alumna!  Legacy tours will be offered 9:00 am-4:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am-1:00 pm Saturday by appointment only.  Pre-scheduled Admission tours will depart from the Office of Admission in Corson Hall.

How do I get to Campus? Where do I park? 

Guests must arrange their own transportation to and from campus throughout the Weekend.  All Ursinus parking lots from both the 5th Avenue and 9th Avenue entrances are available for use. View a campus map.  

Public Transportation 
SEPTA is the mass transit system for Philadelphia and its suburbs.  For scheduled departure times from the 30th Street train station and the Philadelphia Airport, contact SEPTA at 215-580-7800 or go online at www.septa.org for the most up-to-date information.

How are credit cards processed? Is it secure?

All credit cards will be processed through Blackbaud, a reputable company specializing in online credit card transactions. If you register online, the Ursinus College Office of Alumni Relations will NOT have access to your credit card. All processing will go through the highly secure Blackbaud system.

What if I need a refund?

You must contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 610-409-3585 to cancel and request a refund. If you registered online using a credit card, the Ursinus College Office of Alumni Relations will NOT have access to your credit card.  All processing will go through Blackbaud.  If you are in need of a refund, it will be sent to you as a check, NOT credited back to your card. 

NCAA Policy on Tailgating

“The illegal use and abuse of alcohol is contrary to the mission of the NCAA and destroys such fundamental values as respect, fairness, civility, honesty and responsibility.  …Therefore, the NCAA prohibits the sale and public consumption of alcoholic beverages during all intercollegiate events.  The NCAA promotes only the legal and responsible use of alcohol by fans outside the stadium or arena.” Ursinus welcomes returning alumni for Homecoming who recognize and respect the NCAA Policy on Tailgating.  Guests who do not conform to this policy will be asked to leave the premises.
