Philanthropy Committee
The Ursinus College Philanthropy Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers committed to raising the profile of Ursinus by helping the office of advancement meet fundraising goals.
Our Focus
The primary goals of the Ursinus College Philanthropy Committee are to educate fellow alumni, parents and friends of the college about the importance of philanthropy and encourage support from peers at various times throughout the year. The group meets regularly with Ursinus staff (5-6 meetings/year) to glean campus updates and help enhance efforts already underway in the office of advancement. Volunteers assist with concerted outreach (e-mail and calls) including, but not limited to, the following efforts:
- #Giving2UCday
- Calendar Year End
- Philanthropy Week
- Bear2Bear Benefit & Bash
- Fiscal Year End
- Thank-a-Thons
