Frequently asked questions about Alumni Weekend 2018.

Where do I go when I arrive on campus?

Wismer Center - Faculty/Staff Dining Room
Upon your arrival to campus, please pick up your registration packets and schedules. Registration will be held in the Faculty & Staff Dining Room in Wismer Center, located at the center of campus behind Olin Hall (see map). There is parking behind Wismer Center. 

Who will I see at Alumni Weekend 2018?

Check out the Look Who’s Coming list in March 2018 to find out which of your classmates you’ll see at the Weekend. Don’t see a friend on the list? Encourage them to attend your class reunion celebrations with you!

What is the dress code for the weekend? 

Dress is casual for the majority of Alumni Weekend programs. The Jazz Supper Club and Reunion Dinners are business casual.   

What will the weather be like?

Collegeville in mid April can be crisp and clear or rainy and cold.  When packing, keep in mind that during the day it could get as high as the low 70s, but at night could get as low as mid 40s. 

What meals are available?

Alumni will have the opportunity to dine with students in Wismer Dining Hall throughout the Weekend. Dinner will be included in signature events, such as the Jazz Supper Club and Reunion Dinners.  For more details on dining options, consult the Alumni Weekend Schedule of Events.  

What if I have special needs?

All buildings used for Alumni Weekend & Reunions are handicapped accessible. Golf carts will also be available for your use. Please indicate your needs on the Registration Form. This includes dietary needs for all meals. 

Will campus tours be available? 

Of course! Take time to get reacquainted with Ursinus’ campus during your visit. Tours will be available on Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. and Saturday, April 21, at 1 p.m.

How do I get to Campus? Where do I park? 

All Ursinus parking lots from both the 5th Avenue and 9th Avenue entrances are available for alumni use. View a campus map.  

To help you make plans for your visit to campus, there will be transportation throughout Alumni Weekend provided by the college from the Collegeville Marriott to and from campus.

If you are arriving at the Philadelphia Airport there is a shuttle service available through Tropiano Shuttle - $63 round trip to the Collegeville Marriott www.tropianoshuttle.com

How are credit cards processed? Is it secure?

All credit cards will be processed through Blackbaud, a reputable company specializing in online credit card transactions. If you register online, the Ursinus College Office of Alumni Relations will NOT have access to your credit card. All processing will go through the highly secure Blackbaud system.

What if I need a refund?

Cancellations will be accepted with full refund until Monday, April 16, 2018. You must contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 610-409-3585 to cancel and request a refund. If you registered online using a credit card, the Ursinus College Office of Alumni Relations will NOT have access to your credit card.  All processing will go through Blackbaud.  If you are in need of a refund, it will be sent to you as a check, NOT credited back to your card. 

I would like to go off campus for a meal. Where should I go? 

There are several restaurant options in the area. You can stay close to campus and visit the Providence Town Center in Collegeville or travel a little further to Phoenixville and Skippack. Search further via the links below:

What types of recreational opportunities will be available?

The Perkiomen Trail runs along the Perkiomen Creek, right behind the Ursinus campus. The trail is a multi-use public space for walkers, joggers, bicyclists, and equestrians.
