In accordance with the Ursinus College Faculty Handbook, student comments on teaching effectiveness and student-faculty interaction are invited at the time of a faculty member’s review for tenure. Although student letters must be signed to be considered, student names may be withheld, upon request, when their comments are shared with the Promotion and Tenure Committee, and the faculty member.

Dining services will expand its lunchtime menu while Center for Talented Youth (CTY) is here. From June 18 through Aug. 3, the Natural! juice bar will re-open, and Jazzman’s on the lower level of Wismer Center will continue to be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
From Monday, June 24, through Saturday, Aug. 4, the C-store in lower Wismer will expand its hours to Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The college will be open on Labor Day, and classes will be in session.
All college buildings will be closed during the winter holiday (December 24 – January 1). Administrative employees may be asked to work one or more of these days to complete essential year-end business. They will receive compensatory holidays at a time to be arranged with their supervisor.

The Red Alcove in Wismer Center will now offer a music-free quiet dining space. The quiet area is available every day to students, faculty and staff from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those who utilize the space will be asked to talk to others in a low volume, silence all electronic devices and abstain from playing music without earbuds or headphones
Beginning this semester, President Blomberg will hold office hours for students. These office hours give students the opportunity to discuss their projects, ideas for the College or issues affecting students. Please use the form to request a time slot.
