Additional AEDs Installed on Campus
Additional Automated External Defibrillators have been installed in Olin and Ritter Halls and the Wellness Center completing the several year Safety Committee initiative to house an AED in the main administrative/academic buildings on campus.
Sudden cardiac arrest is an often-fatal form of heart disease. For each minute that passes in cardiac arrest without return to a normal rhythm, a person’s chance of survival drops 10 percent. Having AEDs readily accessible to the campus community increases the chance of survival for a person suffering cardiac arrest.
Know the locations of AEDs on campus. You may help save a life!
