Beloved Community Night Featuring 42

We invite you to join us for one of our Beloved Community signature events celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. This year, we will be screening 42, which tells the story of Jackie Robinson and his experience breaking barriers as the first African American man to play baseball professionally at the major league level.

Stories of Reslience: International Film Festival

This year’s selections are all stories of courage and tenacity told by directors working in a variety of styles and genres, including animation, comedy, documentary, and drama. Featuring one film in each language taught at Ursinus, the annual International Film Festival brings together college students and community members to talk about how movies foster empathy and shape our thinking.
