Vice President for College and Community Engagement, Heather Lobban-Viravong announced in an email to students that Diana Deoki has joined the Institute for Inclusion and Equity as assistant director of inclusion and equity, student leadership and transition. This role, Lobban-Viravong explained, will provide critical support for the IIE in programs aimed at furthering the college’s goal of building a more inclusive campus.
This is another step in growing the impact of the IIE and its capacity to offer dynamic programs, activities and services, especially for students.
Diana first joined Ursinus as assistant director of admission, diversity recruitment in the enrollment management division, where she worked with prospective students and families from multiple regions across the country. She will continue to work with incoming students, implementing IIE programs that begin at the time of acceptance beyond the first year of study.
