Dear Campus Community,
Ursinus College is hosting a second dose on-campus vaccination clinic on Thursday, May 6. This clinic is exclusively for all current students, faculty, and staff who received their first dose on campus on April 15. Once again, we are pleased that Rite Aid will organize the clinic and administer the Pfizer vaccine.
Please note that if you did not receive your first dose on campus on April 15, then you are not eligible to participate in the May 6 on-campus clinic.
Appointment scheduling and reminders about the clinic will be sent to you via email on Tuesday, May 4.
To accommodate the clinic, next week’s mandatory on-campus student testing will move from Thursday to Wednesday, May 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Testing for faculty, staff, and students who require twice weekly testing, will occur next week as usual on Monday, May 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For the final week of on-campus tests, testing will take place on Monday, May 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Students who will be leaving campus before that final Thursday testing and wish to get tested before departure may do so on Monday, May 10.
If you are fully vaccinated–either through the on-campus clinic or through another provider-please report it to us as soon as possible. Students who are fully vaccinated should email email@example.com after they receive their second shot, and faculty and staff should visit https://ursinus.edu/vaccinations and click on the form that can be found in the “Fully Vaccinated Information” section.
Finally, we are once again looking for faculty and staff volunteers for the May 6 clinic. If you are interested in helping, please email Ellen Macionsky at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you, Bears!
