In God of Carnage, two married couples meet to discuss a playground squabble that had broken out between their sons. The seemingly civil parents turn hostile toward each other when each couple’s interpretation of the truth opposes the other couple’s interpretation. The boys’ small fight is nothing compared to the combative, violent match of their parents. This scathingly funny play is an examination of our current polarized society.
