Organist Alan Morrison performs the first Heefner organ recital of the spring semester. He will present a varied program featuring works by Jeanne Demessieux, Cesar Franck, Wayne Oquin, Florence Price, Harold Stover and Ursinus College’s student composer, Julian Schwartz. Morrison is one of North America’s premier concert organists and is the Haas Charitable Trust Chair in Organ Studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
The Ursinus College Department of Music offers a wide range of free musical performances throughout the spring. Parking is be available on concert days in the visitor’s lot at Corson Hall off the Main Street entrance to the college.
