S.I.S. (Sisters in Spirit)

“Sisters in Spirit” is a spiritual formation and contemplative leadership group  for women who wish to use spirituality as a resource for personal and communal transformation. Participants learn how to use spiritual disciplines such as sharing narratives, re authoring personal, community and cultural myths and contemplative practices such as journaling, lectio divina, centering prayer, and other forms of meditative art practices that can be used to help create a sense of well being necessary to be a change agent in the world.

You are welcome to join “Sisters in Spirit” (SIS) a spiritual formation and support group for women who wish to use spirituality as a resource for personal and communal transformation. We will come together to discuss issues concerning women in society and academia and ways to support one another and learn about resources for contemplative leadership development.
